After years spent as professionals in bustling cities like Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Hong Kong, we've traded the urban hustle for a dream we always knew was waiting for us. We've worked hard to create something special, and we couldn't be happier to embrace this new way of life in La Roque-Gageac. It's here that we found the perfect blend of nature, history, art, delicious food, and genuine human connection. Believed to be over 400 years old, Le Coin Tranquille has undergone several restorations and is equipped with the benefits of modern life. However, the charm and atmosphere of the past were left intact, retaining the original character of this quaint and historic Black Perigord Property.Our boutique Bed and Breakfast has three bedrooms, two of which are double and one is a twin room; all rooms have en-suite shower rooms.
We have two terraces; one is a partly covered terrace off to the side, where you can enjoy breakfast, relax, or just watch the river roll by. The second terraced garden offers excellent views of the Dordogne River and valley, where you can enjoy breakfast and relax after a great day exploring the area.
A five-minute walk through the little narrow streets to collect bread, have coffee or eat at the many restaurants.
Castelanaud-la-Chapelle, Domme and Beynac-et-Cazenac are as close as 7min driving and Scarlat-la-Canadá is at 15mins by car. Five wonderful castles and two famous gardens are just minutes away from us.
The house is furnished with everything you will need for your stay, including traditional French furniture and lovely linens. Wi Fi throughout.
